What happens when 2 dedicated Rush fans try to convert someone into the fold? Let's find out! During this wide ranging discussion, Tim and our guest Mike talk about their love for some of Canada's favorite musical sons and provide some entry points for Todd.
This is actually a really cool episode where we of course focus on Rush, but also get into a fairly fun tangent on jazz trumpet player Clark Terry, whom it turns out we all some connection to as well. Enjoy!

In this episode, we talk about the Battlestar Galactica ... thing ... that's happening on NBC's new streaming service. Though it's not a reboot, it supposedly won't share any cast, but takes place in the same universe as Ron Moore's BSG, and we have no idea when it'll actually be available to watch. So yeah... this one seems like it's humming along like a finely tuned machine. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean we can't spend some time wildly speculating about what it could be!

- Welcome to another edition of "Tim Was Right, Todd Was Wrong"... Tim was closer to the truth about the time jump at the end of "Daybreak Part 3" (the final episode of Ron Moore's BSG) because it's a 150,000 year difference between the crew landing on Earth and present day, not millions of years as Todd claimed.

Tim was very excited about Mile Davis' 1981 album The Man With The Horn, which features drummer Al Foster, saxophonist Bill Evans, guitarists Mike Stern and Barry Finnerty, Marcus Miller on bass, and others. Specifically, you ought to check out the track "Fat Time".
Todd thinks a deep dive into Keith Jarrett's The Koln Concert is well worth your time as well as reading some of the history behind the event and why it's considered a bit of a masterpiece.

We're rollin' up into the Free Range Idiocy Trailer Park to preview all the movies we want to see that are coming out in 2020 (and the ones we don't want to see) based solely on the online trailers. Join us as we discuss CGI dogs, the wonders of youth, how DC can mangle another property, and whether the world really needed another movie about cars!

Going from sports entertainment to plain ol' sports, we explore the mental meltdown taking place in New England around the potential departure of Patriots franchise quarterback and New England folk legend, Tom Brady. We'll go over how we got here, what's happening, and the best/worst case scenarios for the Pats and Brady. Dig in!

- Correction: the Patriots have missed the playoffs TWICE during Brady's time as a starter. First time was after the 2002 season when they were 9-7. As a couple of wrestling geeks from way back, we figured it was about time we got down to the nitty gritty and talked about what's happening in Vince's playground. After watching this year's Survivor Series, we got together and went through the card discussing what the hell just happened. Pull on your elbow pads and luchador mask - it's time to get to the ring!

- Neither one of us could explain how taping injured ribs would help, so after some quick Google Fu, the answer is... Not much. In fact, doctors now recommend not taping ribs because it restricts the ability to take deep breaths which can help avoid getting pneumonia.
- Yeah, Ricochet is pretty good. Here's that clip of him jumping out of the ring to meet up with Velveteen Dream.
- Here's the Triple-H versus Taka Michinoku match was from RAW back in the day.
- That time Tommaso Ciampa came to the ring with no music and got roundly booed? Yeah, we've got that.

Interesting bit of trivia, Ossie was co-starred in one of the most oddly heartwarming movies Todd has watched, Bubba Ho-Tep, where he joins forces with Bruce Campbell (playing a geriatric Elvis Presley) as they fight back against an Egyptian mummy come back from the dead. And yes, it's just as delightfully weird as it sounds.
- The actor who played the doctor in "The Woman King" and Senator Kelly in X-Men and X2: X-Men United? That'd be the prolific Bruce Davison, who's acted in 268 films to date, including James Maine in Titanic 2. For those of you who didn't know they made a sequel to Titanic... they didn't, it's just as bad as you'd think it'd be, and you're welcome.
AND ANOTHER THING:
- TIM: The sixth season of Silicon Valley which is currently streaming on HBO GO.
- TODD: The Reboot Roadshow with Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes or just check out Jay & Silent Bob Reboot at your local theater. Here's the red band trailer, so be forewarned that there's a dump truck full of bad language and objectionable material to follow. Enjoy!
