We take on all the weird theories and possibilities that a fourth Matrix movie provide. Who's saving who? What plots will thicken and which theories are just too thin for holding any weight? Join us once again as we employ our idiotic expertise to break it all down for you... the people... and share which theories we think are The Real and which ones are The Jabroni.
All this and a sidetrack into the end of the fantasy football regular season and thoughts on episodes four and five or Hawkeye!

Friday Dec 17, 2021
Friday Dec 17, 2021
This time around, Uncle Todd and The Man They Call Tim dive into all the fan theories swirling around the newest jewel in the MCU crown, Spider-Man: No Way Home. What's going to happen and what isn't? Who's gonna show up and who isn't? And most importantly... which of these idiots is going to have an edge to have bragging rights and a bottle of bourbon down the line? You can play the home game by listening before you hit the theater and keep track.
All this and our thoughts on fantasy football, the new trailer for Spider-Man: Across The Spiderverse, and the newest trailer for The Matrix Resurrections too!

Episode 83: For Harold - Ghostbusters Afterlife Review
Monday Dec 13, 2021
Monday Dec 13, 2021
If you've listened to any of our episodes before now, you probably saw this one coming... but we dove into Ghostbusters Afterlife feet-first and have lots to say about Jason Reitman's tribute to Harold Ramis, his father Ivan Reitman, a beloved movie from our childhood, and much more. Did we like it? Love it? Or are we jaunting off to Reno to elope with it? Find out!
All that with some talk about fantasy football (sorry), thoughts on Hawkeye, and a nice little wrestling rant from The Man They Call Tim.
LINKS OF INTEREST:
- Accompanying reference material for The Man They Call Tim's WWE rant
- Uncle Todd said it was Cultaholic where he saw the wrestling video, but then later said it might've been What Culture, but then thought is was Cultaholic... but is now realizing it was indeed What Culture. We just wish he'd make up his bloody mind...
- Surprise, surprise... but Uncle Todd was also wrong about that Baskin Robbins flavor from Ghostbusters Afterlife being the same one as from Ant-Man.
...AND ANOTHER THING:
The Man They Call Tim recommends listening to the new podcast from Guy Raz called Wisdom From The Top on NPR
Uncle Todd thinks watching the new Beatles documentary on Disney+ is a damn fine idea

Episode 82: Late 90‘s Showdown! - Album 1-on-1: Aerosmith vs. Stone Temple Pilots
Thursday Dec 02, 2021
Thursday Dec 02, 2021
Once again, the idiots have issued their album 1-on-1 challenge - to listen through an album of the other's choosing and report back with their findings. Will it be another lovefest or will reality intrude? It's anyone's guess with a couple of lesser-known albums from big-name bands - Aerosmith's Nine Lives and No. 4 from Stone Temple Pilots.
All that with some talk about the latest Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer, casting news from Ahsoka, and what's in the oven for Thanksgiving.

- No Uncle Todd, "Sour Girl" was not THE biggest single by STP - it was ONE of their biggest hits. It's right there in the above Wikipedia article
- Here's the video for "Sour Girl" starring Buffy... er... Sarah Michelle Gellar and Scott Weiland gyrating around without a shirt. As you did back in the late 90's.
- Here's the video for "Crazy" starring Alicia Silverstone and Liv Tyler, which manages to be creepier than STP's Teletubby-ish bunny rabbits because you have the daughter of the lead singer performing a striptease. Yikes.

Wednesday Nov 24, 2021
Wednesday Nov 24, 2021
So, how right and how wrong were we in predicting what fan theories would make their way into Eternals? Thanks to The Man They Call Tim's math skills, we're now able to find out. Also, fantasy football smack talk, our thoughts on Disney+ Day, and good-by to Brother Cavill.

Like the changing of seasons, each new Marvel movie can be counted on to bring a fresh crop of fan theories and otherwise ludicrous ideas about what will happen. After a slow start, the movie biz is cranking up nicely towards the end of 2021 with a whole bunch of new releases coming down the pike - with most of them actually hitting theaters! So we figured it was our honor-bound duty to pause from our normal idiocy and take some time to appreciate a few of the flicks coming up based on their trailers. Dig it!
LINKS OF INTEREST:
- It looks like we'll be getting Iron Heart a little bit earlier than her own Disney+ show... like Black Panther 2 early!

Tim recommends Neil Gaiman's collection of nonfiction, The View From the Cheap Seats. By the way, the links we try to use for Bookshop.org sources from locally owned book stores and is a great way to get increased selection while not funneling a ton of money to some corporation that's taking it all to Saturn with them in a few years.
Todd thinks you should watch all of Parks and Recreation if you haven't already, and watch it again if you have.

Episode 77: Bradygeddon Part 4 - The Return of the GOAT
Monday Oct 18, 2021
Monday Oct 18, 2021
We thought our time talking about Tom Brady and the New England Patriots was at an end... but how wrong we were. When the Bucs made a stop in Foxborough, it was time for us to dust off this subject one more time and reflect on the game itself, Mac Jones, and the legacies of Tom Brady and Bill Belichick for the last time. Or is it....?
Programming note - This was recorded the evening after that game, but our editing has been slowed the last couple of weeks. We're hoping to get back on track this week barring any setbacks from Patrick burning down the office or squirting Cheez Whiz into a USB port.
LINKS OF INTEREST:
- Here's the No Time To Die trailer in case you haven't seen it already. And since we're horribly late getting to this, Uncle Todd's already been out to see the flick and gives it a hearty thumbs up (for what that's worth)
- A little more information on how the ScarJo - MickeyMoMo dust-up has been settled, giving us peace in our time... for now
- Here are Tom Brady's career stats, which are worth a look if only to see the stupid-long list of appearances on leaderboards and such towards the bottom
...AND ANOTHER THING:
Tim recommends listening to the episode of NPR's How I Built This featuring Fawn Weaver - author and founder/owner of Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey
Todd thinks you should check out Complicated Shadows: The Life and Music of Elvis Costello by Graeme Thomson as well as Wise Up Ghost And Other Songs by Elvis Costello and The Roots

Friday Oct 01, 2021
We finally get around to talking about the newest Marvel movie - the 25th in the ever-expanding MCU - Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings! We'll talk about everything we liked and what didn't and whether we'd recommend it to others like the good little Marvel shills that we are. Also, we talk about that photo with Kevin Feige that Hugh Jackman posted awhile back on social media, some happenings in AEW, some random ideas we have for Disney+ shows, and fantasy football.
LINKS OF INTEREST:
